Someday, I'll hike Spencer's Butte!

It's on my U of O "Duck-It List." Among many other things, hiking Spencer's Butte has made the list of things to do during my time here at the University of Oregon. Now that Eugene has been graced by the lovely, yet ever-unpredictable, Spring weather, I couldn't ask for a more optimal time to go on this adventure...still slightly ashamed I haven't yet...

Someday, we'll defrost our freezer...

It's back.

The glacier.

Yeah... so one knife, a hair dryer, and some good ol' manual labor later, the glacier was no more. But hey, guess what?! It's back. :-| When will we learn that it's a good idea to defrost our freezer on a regular basis rather than wait until the ice trays and other freezer contents are frozen solid adhering them to the walls of the freezer? Ehhhh probably never.

{I did use the chiseled away ice scraps to sooth my shin splints. Yeah, call me Ms. Resourceful.}

Someday, I'll regularly blog...

Sooooooo I realize I've been a little MIA and haven't had a new post in a while - school is entirely to blame. With the start of a new term, I'm trying to get back into the swing of things and have kind of neglected to take time and write. Shame on me...then again, cut this college girl some slack! Well I hope to be whipping out a few more posts this week so stay tuned!

 How I feel after all of that post-Christmas clutter decides to once again make it resemble the wreckage of a tornado:

Yeah. As much as I like to be organized, my life just turns into a compilation of half checked to-do lists on post-its and a half-unpacked suitcase that I've been living out of for the last two and a half weeks. On tomorrow's to-do list which may or may not make into into the "checked-off" category: ORGANIZE! {and strive to keep it that way}

Someday, I'll start a blog.

You are a journalism student who has just tackled your first term of college, what are you going to do over your month-long winter break?! Why start a blog of course!

So here I am. A blogger. It's official.

Still trying to work out some of the kinks and make it my own - but that is hardly a chore. Will soon be posting about all of the holiday fun coming my way - December is now in full swing!
